Foster update - August 2, 2011

It's been a busy few weeks, so sorry for the delay in updates!

Welcome to our weekly foster update, where you can find information on dogs that are new to rescue, pending adoptions, and the dogs lucky enough to find their forever homes. As always, you are welcome to contact us for more details, or if you have any questions.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of one of our senior, long-term foster residents, Marilyn.  Marilyn passed away peacefully with her loving foster family by her side.  Rest in peace Marilyn.  See you at the Rainbow Bridge.

The following dogs have arrived into rescue in the last 2 weeks, and are now available on our website:

Buster - 2-year-old, male Cocker Spaniel-Pug-Boston Terrier mix, fostered in Niagara Falls.

Corky - 5-6-year-old, female Yorkie-Cairn mix, fostered in Brampton.  Corky's puppies - Jerry, Elaine, Newman, Kramer and George - are also available for adoption.

Kassie (Alaska) - 1-year-old, female Terrier mix, fostered in London.

Luke - 5-year-old, male Italian greyhound, fostered in Uxbridge.

Pugsley - 4-year-old, male Pug mix, fostered in Ottawa.

Peeka - 5-year-old, female Pekingese mix, fostered in Nepean.

Rico - 6-year-old, male Pug mix, fostered in Markham.

Sally - 9-year-old, Jack Russell mix, fostered in Scarborough.

Adoptions are pending for Liam Redford, Regis, Arlow, Milo and Brownie's Betty. We are no longer accepting applications for these dogs. Thank you for your interest.

Baby (Chihuahua), Nicky, Abby, Gillian, Toby, Mickey and William were adopted since the last update. Congratulations!
