Foster update - May 23, 2011

Welcome to our weekly foster update, where you can find information on dogs that are new to rescue, pending adoptions, and the dogs lucky enough to find their forever homes.  As always, you are welcome to contact us for more details, or if you have any questions.


NEW ARRIVALS

The following dogs have arrived into rescue in the last week, and are now available on our website.

Amber - 2-year-old, female Yorkie from an Ohio puppy mill, being fostered in Sarnia, ON.
 

 
Gambit - 4-year-old, male Terrier mix stray from Kingston, ON Humane Society, being fostered in Peterborough, ON.
 

 
Max - 4-year-old, male Yorkie mix stray, being fostered in Brampton, ON.
 

 
Mowgli - 4-month-old, male Shih Tzu owner surrender, being fostered in Nepean (Ottawa), ON.
 

 
Sam - 8-year-old, male Yorkie from an Ohio puppy mill, being fostered in Toronto, ON **please note that due to a high number of applications received for Sam, we are no longer accepting any more.**
 

 
Sprocket - 3-year-old, male Wheaten-Schnauzer mix stray from Brockville, ON pound, being fostered in Mississauga (Port Credit), ON.
 

 
Tiny and Taffy - 5-year-old and 3-year-old, female long-haired Chihuahua owner surrenders *bonded pair*, being fostered in Peterborough, ON (*note: Taffy is pictured below*).
 

 
Vaca - 4-year-old, female Greyhound mix stray from Cozumel, Mexico, being fostered in Toronto, ON.
 

 
Xule - 8-month-old, male Terrier mix stray from Cozumel, Mexico, being fostered in Newmarket, ON.

Adoptions are currently pending for Smoochie, Monday and Friday.
 

ADOPTED
 
Shelley (who had been in rescue for 14 months!) and Lois were lucky enough to find their forever homes this week.  Congratulations ladies!
