Dog of the week: Kenzie!

Kenzie is a beautiful 4-year-old female Pomeranian who arrived a few weeks ago from a puppymill in Ohio. Kenzie has had very little socialization in her short life and because of this is quite shy and timid with new people. She is coming around in her foster home and is beginning to build some confidence.


Kenzie is doing well with the other dogs in her foster home, as well as the cats. Because of her past, she would do best with older kids only. No children under 14 years of age will be considered as loud noises and sudden movements still scare Kenzie.

Now that Kenzie is staring to settle in her sweet, loving personality is shining through. Soon she will understand that not all humans are scary, and she will some day be able to trust again.
