Dog of the week: Monkey!

Monkey is a 2.5-year-old male, black Miniature Poodle. Monkey is good with dogs and kids, and while he is fine with cats as well, he will chase them. He will even, on occasion, sleep cuddled up with a senior Poodle in his foster home. Cute!

Monkey is an owner surrender; his owners were no longer able to care for him, so they surrendered him to LOYAL Rescue.
Monkey is an active guy that loves his walks - as many as he can get! Monkey would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play, and would love to be adopted by an active family that will make time to play with him and provide him with the much-needed attention and exercise he craves. Having a human family member home part or all of the day would be a bonus because Monkey has a bit of separation anxiety and can be vocal; because of this, an apartment or town house would not be a suitable home for Monkey.

Monkey does not like to be crated, and because he is trustworthy in the house (some barking aside), does not need to be. He prefers to be with his humans, and is happy to snooze on the couch with you all day long. Monkey is fully housetrained and hasn't had a single accident in his foster home!
